„Every Structure`s Dislocated“ heisst das zweite Album der Band ELEPHANTS ON TAPE aus Leipzig.

Über 2 Jahre hat das Quintett daran gearbeitet und man hört es dem Album an. In sechs Songs wird ein sehr detailliertes und facettenreiches Bild gezeichnet, was die Gruppe unter "digitaler Melancholie" versteht.

Eingerahmt von vier Instrumentals, die aus übrig gebliebenen Spuren bei den Aufnahmesessions entstanden, wird hier Struktur erschaffen und wieder verwischt.
Physikalisch-technische Prozesse dienen als Metapher um zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen zu erläutern. Songwriting am Laptop wird als intimer Prozess verstanden. Eine digitale Klangwelt mit analoger Wärme angereichert.

Die Mitglieder, die allesamt mit eigenen Soloprojekten die Leipziger Musikszene bereichern, tragen hier all das zusammen, was es braucht um ein großes Ganzes entstehen zu lassen.
„Every Structure`s Dislocated“ ist reich an tollen Popmomenten und frickeligem Indie-Nerdtum, das Album steckt voller Kreativität und musikalischem Ideenreichtum.

Es erscheint am 23.05. digital über Schatulle Bömm und am 01.05.2021 exklusiv auf Kassette über All My Ghosts.

"Every Structure´s Dislocated" is the second album by the band
ELEPHANTS ON TAPE from Leipzig.
For about two years they worked on the recordings and the result stands for itself. In six songs and four instrumentals the band delivers their very own definition of digital melancholy.
The record is full of great pop moments and creativity, it shows the band´s love for digital possibilities and analog warmth.
