A year is past. Actually 8 years have passed since Slobo showed me his guitar ideas for the first time.
After moving from Munich to Hamburg in 2010 he swapped his old Amplifier and his electric guitar for an acoustic guitar and an interface and started to record his first sketches.
These ideas accompanied me over the years, I tried to work on it, tried to add other instruments or percussions, but never was fully satisfied.
In 2016 I decided to give it another shot. Slobo hasn`t ever stopped to write and record (later on electric guitar again), so finally I ended up with a handful of songs, that I wanted to finish, that should feel complete.

A year is past is our first musical project since the end of our Band Ships Funken, it is the soundtrack to our years in Hamburg and Berlin, cities that never became a home for us.
